The Problem

This client had been in business for over a decade but their online presence told a different story. The logo was dated, the website was built on a free template six years ago, and they had zero organic visibility on Google. Every lead came from word of mouth or paid ads — and the paid ads were getting more expensive every quarter with diminishing returns.

They’d tried working with a few freelancers over the years — a logo refresh here, some blog posts there — but nothing was connected. The brand looked different on every platform, the website didn’t reflect the quality of their work, and their marketing was a collection of disconnected tactics with no strategy behind them.

The Approach

We started with a full brand audit and competitive analysis. The rebrand came first — new visual identity, messaging framework, and brand guidelines that would inform everything else. Once the brand was locked, we designed and built a custom WordPress site from scratch — no templates, no page builders. Every page was designed around conversion, with clear CTAs, trust signals, and a content structure built for SEO from day one.

While the site was in development, we built out the SEO strategy — keyword research, technical audit, content calendar, and local SEO optimization. The site launched with SEO baked in, not bolted on. We also set up Google Ads to capture demand immediately while organic rankings built over time, and implemented email automation to nurture leads who weren’t ready to buy on the first visit.

The full engagement ran 8 months from brand kickoff to the end of the initial SEO contract.

Within 8 months of launch, organic traffic tripled. The site went from zero first-page rankings to 12 keywords in the top 3 positions for their core service areas. Google Ads cost-per-lead dropped by 40% because the new landing pages converted significantly better.
